Dear Stranger,

March is here.

This month’s prompt is about something we all do but rarely talk about. What we guard. What we keep safe. And what it costs us.

Over the next ten days, paid subscribers will write anonymous letters in response to this month’s theme. I’ll read every one, pair them thoughtfully, and send exchanges by mid-month.

What to Expect as a Free Subscriber

Around March 25th, you'll receive a curated collection of anonymous letters from this month's exchanges. Not all exchanges are shared, only those the writers have chosen to make public.

You can also explore our growing archive:

  • Letters from December: Write about a moment you return to—one that lives in your mind more vividly than others.

  • Letters from January: Write about what you’re leaving behind as you step into this new year and what you’re hoping to find.

  • Letters from February: Write about love you’ve never expressed, or love you wish you’d received.

Each month adds new voices, new truths, new reminders that we’re not alone in what we carry.
